"Mcducation has helped me a lot since the beginning when I decided to apply the application to Edinburgh Business School.  I really recommend everyone to apply your application via Mcducation, especially for universities in Scotland. In my opinion, Scotland is quite a nice and peaceful country which has the beautiful architecture building and many interesting history. Furthermore, I really love the atmosphere at Edinburgh because there are not so crowded people. I also can enjoy the fresh air and beautiful nature which surrounding here every single day. I’m sure that I will miss this environment and feeling when I get back home. Therefore, Edinburgh is a bit boring as well because it lacks of shopping centers and good restaurants. Sometimes, I went to Glasgow instead for shopping or having a nice dinner. However, I still prefer to live in Edinburgh because the atmosphere and environment is pretty lovely.

Edinburgh Business School is a part of Heriot-watt University but EBS’s utilities are separated from the other faculties. So, studying in EBS may have better advantages than the others in Heriot-watt because EBS has a lower number of fulltime students and it provides the fully support of studying material, private studying room, utilities and lecturers. My favorite of EBS would be the close connection between students and lecturers. I can easily reach to them and consult with them in any issue. In general, I am quite happy with the studying environment at Edinburgh Business School because it fully support my studying.

For MBA at Edinburgh Business School, I frankly have to say that it is a tough course, especially non- native English, because the studying class has only 4 days per one module and more 2 days for revision class. After this, it is all about study by you own.  The class room was going pretty fast and there’s a tiny number of non- natives English. Most of students are part-time students who flight from many countries to study in 4-day and flight back; some of them are managers, employees, supervisors etc.  Fortunately, they have fully experience and knowledge that can be shared and exchanged to the other student in the class. It also has group works which are designed to give the experience to students for learning the real situations or scenarios of each module. (Macroeconomic simulation is the best group work ever!!)  Overall, MBA course at EBS is pretty useful class for learning the business.

Following the tough course work, I have to active myself all the time while I was in the class and group work. The language barrier is a huge disadvantage that makes me have to study harder and try to be more extroverted in work group. In my point of view, it will be a big mistake if students couldn’t follow the lesson on 4-days seminar and this mistake already leads many students fails in the exam; this includes native and non-native students.

In the term of career, I would like to change my career field from IT industry to financial. So, I decide to continue my MBA to be specialism in Finance. This degree will definitely help me to changing my career because I gain the full experience and knowledge of business and finance. Finally, I hope I will get a great job after I graduate.
At last, I would recommend MBA course for people who really want to learn the business and also know what they will do with this knowledge. Furthermore, I really NOT recommend this course for people who have zero background of business unless you definitely would like to study about it."
